Youth Leadership Program
Because The Let It Be Foundation is all about helping kids, we believe the youth in our community need a place to volunteer and make a difference! Through the Youth Leadership Program, students from both public and private schools around the area are selected through an application process and represent a diverse group of strengths and character. Our "Kids 4 Kids" events, organized by members of the program, are directly aligned with our mission to "restore a sense of normalcy in the home environment" by inviting all current Let It Be families to attend and participate in the events.

The program's primary goal is to develop youth leaders with a philanthropic focus while embracing our Let It Be families. All members, as a team, organize and execute various events to inspire their peers to get involved in the community. Both teams meet on a monthly basis to develop key life skills, plan events, and coordinate youth volunteer opportunities.

The Jr. Advisory Team is a volunteer focused leadership program consisting of 10th - 12th grade students that meets every 2nd or 3rd and 4th Monday of the month in addition to other team activities.

The Jr. Links Team consists of 7th - 9th grade students and meets every 2nd Monday of the month in addition to other team activities.

Youth Leadership Program members have completed over 20,000 community service hours in the past five seasons! Thank you for your commitment and passion to inspire youth volunteerism and raise awareness for serious pediatric illnesses.

Applications for the 2013-2014 season are accepted Apr 1 - May 1. All applicants will be contacted for an interview. Notifications for the 2013-2014 will be posted online June 1, 2013.

Extraordinary Youth Award 2012

This award, given during our annual "Kids 4 Kids" talent show, recognizes key youth in our community who have gone above and beyond to help support our local families in need. Many of these students have raised funds on their own for The Let It Be Foundation, donated significant volunteer hours outside of the Youth Leadership Program or they have made a personal effort to give selflessly to our cause. Congratulations and thank you to this year's Extraordinary Youth.
